1837–1848. Polished steel scabbard with regulation suspension mounts. S-shaped guard, leather grip with twisted brass wire.
Blade: Pandur-pointed, double-fullered, extensively etched and engraved along its full length. One side with stylized Roman soldier, shield marked “F1”. In ornamental cartouche, inscription in Kurrent script referring to the Vienna uprising of March 13–15, 1848. Other side with Roman warrior and Austrian double-headed eagle, with “Johann Michner” inscription. Very high-quality workmanship. Excellent condition.
