1868 M K.U.K. hussar officer shako. 4th regiment

between 1868–1918. Leather, with red cloth covering and black-woven gold braid band (lieutenant–first lieutenant rank), with decorative cords. At the front center, the crowned Austrian imperial eagle, and a brass plume holder decorated with the monogram of the 4th hussar regiment and Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria and King of Hungary. In excellent condition appropriate to its age. Original, in fine condition.
