French empire mantel clock: c. 1820. Gold-plated bronze. Very nice with thick fired gold. With mandolin figure. Backed with gilt bronze appliques. With gilt guilloché dial centre and white enamel counter. Clock-cleaned half bell-striking mechanism with silk-screened pendulum suspension mechanism, with breguet-type hands. With pendulum and key in working order. Size: 42 x 31,5 x 12,5 cm
