Empire Chandelier with Clock

Circa 1810. Vienna. Fire-gilded and burnished bronze. With a mechanism that strikes the Viennese quarter hours on a bell, a calendar, a three-day power reserve and a spring-driven clock mechanism, cleaned by a clockmaker and in working condition. In very beautiful, original, as-found condition. With holes drilled for previous wiring. A very special museum-quality piece.
