Movement with clockwork, alarm bobbin case with pigskin contour wobbling wheel, (with the original escapement!) restored, in working order! Tokja Pinewood base with pearwood bevel, polished surface, cleaned condition. On the back is an inscription in gothic (“kurrent”) about the interesting history of the clock. The translation can be seen in the attached photo in the left hand corner. Attributed to a major general. A museum rarity.
